The game
CalGuessr is a free game for fun. It's offered as is, and we may change, pause or end any part of it at any time.
Not nutrition or medical advice
Calorie totals are estimates based on standard nutrient values for the listed ingredients. Real dishes vary. Nothing on the site is nutrition, diet or medical advice. Don't rely on it for health decisions; talk to a qualified professional instead.
Accounts
- You must be at least 13 to create an account, with a parent or guardian's permission if you're under the age of majority where you live.
- Give a real email address you control, and keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- One account per person.
- You can delete your account any time on the Account page.
Usernames
Usernames are public. Don't pick one that is offensive, hateful, sexual, impersonates someone (including us), or contains personal information. We may change or remove any username, and block names automatically.
Play fair
You agree not to:
- Use bots, scripts or other automated tools to play, submit guesses or create accounts.
- Look up answers through the site's code or data, or otherwise cheat to get onto the leaderboard.
- Send fake guesses or otherwise try to distort the stats other players see.
- Try to break into, overload, or get around the security of the site or its database.
- Copy or republish the site's dishes, photos or answers in bulk.
We may remove scores, reset the leaderboard, or suspend or delete accounts that break these rules. If you find a security problem, please tell us at [email protected] instead of exploiting it.
Our content
The site's design, text, recipes and photos belong to CalGuessr or are used with permission. You may share your own results and score cards freely. That's what they're for.
No warranty, limited liability
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, CalGuessr isn't liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost scores, streaks or data, arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for important changes we'll give notice on the site before they apply. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and, if you live in Canada, of your province or territory.
